Searching for ancestors of John D. ritchey, born about 1801 in KY, WasinJ.M. Hamilton Co in the Blackhawk Wars. Married in Warren Co., 7 Nov1833to Frances Pace, born about 1813 in VA. Moved to Hancock Co., Il wherefirst son, Hiram Benson Richey was born 7 Oct 1834. Family moved toMuscatine Co., Iowa shortly there after as he appears in the 1840 IowaCensus.
He served in the J.M. HAMILTON COmpany of the IL. State Militia during the Blackhawk War of 1832. This info found on the FTW site.

I know he lived in Warren County, Cameron, IL in1922. His parents were George W. and Mary (Horth) Soper who lived inthe area called Soperville/Galesburg. Their dau.,Lou Ethel married Charles Benjamin Rosenbury in Monmouth in 1905. Theylater moved to Chadron, NE and is buried there. The Wilson family doesnot show up in the 1910 IL Census.
